Our acreage in Brazoria County: a technical drift-and-grip course, paddock and parking, the clubhouse, and two garage buildings — with a future 3.5-acre skid pad already mapped for the next phase.
The false grid is where racers stage their cars in order and hang out before they roll out to the start. It's the calm before the run — the part where the community actually happens. That's what we're building: a place your car waits between sessions, surrounded by people who get it.
No. Drift is our flagship community, but the club is built for anyone who wants to drive their car hard — grip, autocross, test-and-tune, car-control practice. If you've got a car you'd rather drive than trailer, this is for you.
Your $1,000 holds one of the 100 founding spots in your name while we build. It's held in a separate, FDIC-insured escrow account — never spent as operating money — and it stays fully refundable right up until the project is fully financed and permitted. If we don't open, you get every dollar back.
Three simple windows. First, you can cancel within three business days of placing your deposit, for any reason. After that, it stays fully refundable the entire time we're securing construction financing and the permits for the track surface and garages. Once both are approved, we email every depositor with at least 14 days' notice: withdraw in that window and you're refunded in full, or stay in and your deposit commits toward your membership. And a backstop in your favor — if the club hasn't opened by March 31, 2028, committed deposits are refunded in full.

Access is reservation-based with a daily roster cap set for safety and surface quality. In practice, member tracks see only a handful of cars out on a typical day, so the cap rarely binds — it exists to protect the rare peak days, not to ration normal access.
For the first 100, no — a standalone track membership stands on its own. But we're capping membership-only spots at 100, permanently. Once they're gone, a garage bay is the only way onto the track (full membership included, no separate dues). So the standalone memberships are genuinely first-come, first-served — when they're claimed, the only door left is a garage bay.

Construction begins late 2026 / early 2027, with a target opening of Q4 2027. Financing is in place, and we'll keep founders updated the whole way.

Kyle Hale, the developer behind False Grid Club. Kyle is a race-winning, track-record-setting club racer, spends his weekends at the kart track with his sons, and has built several of his own cars from the ground up — so the club is being designed by someone who lives the way its members do. He's also a retired dentist and the founder of several companies that are still operating today, including ToothPillow, The Airway Dentists, and DNTL LIFE — a track record of starting things and seeing them through. Financing for the club is secured and the project stands on its own footing, so the only question is how fast it gets built. Built by someone who actually drives, for people who actually drive.
